Assistant Chief Constable Gary Beautridge
Gary Beautridge is head of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime
Directorate, one of the largest divisions in UK policing dedicated
to tackling serious and organised crime.

Assistant Chief Constable Gary Beautridge joined Kent Police
in 1979.
Most of his operational experience has been as a detective
but he was also involved in international investigations
during a four-year stint with the National Crime Squad.
ACC Beautridge was a senior investigating officer on a number
of high profile investigations from murder cases to the Kent Air
Ambulance disaster in 1998.
Mr Beautridge was area commander at Canterbury between 2002 and
2004, and at North Kent between 2006 and 2008.
He was appointed Assistant Chief Constable for Area Operations in
June 2008 where he served until becoming head of the Kent and Essex
Serious Crime Directorate in June 2011.
