Young People
2SMART is the brand that covers Essex Police’s educational work
with young people.

2SMART Roadshows
The 2SMART roadshows started 14
years ago and are still going strong. Eighty-five per cent of Year
Seven pupils across Essex get the chance to see a 2SMART
roadshow which give anti knives, bullying, alcohol and drugs
messages.
Essex Police selects performers with a wide range of skills
(including singers, dancers, local sporting heroes and more)
all with a story to tell.
The performers aim to show young people what they can
achieve if they stay on the right track and put their hearts into
the things that matter to them.
Inspector Kevin Whipps said: “2SMART is more than just a
roadshow, it is the backbone of the Essex Police youth strategy and
is supported by teachers and police schools officers back in the
classroom.”
2SMART has its own website with more information.
