Women's Aid
Women's Aid, a national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children, runs a 24-hour helpline in partnership with Refuge.

Women’s Aid has produced a Survivor’s Handbook, a leaflet full of practical support and information for women experiencing domestic violence. You can download the leaflet in various languages on their website.

The charity also has a website designed to help young people understand domestic violence. Children can log on at http://www.thehideout.org.uk/

Refuge
Refuge runs a 24-hour helpline in partnership with Women’s Aid and offers a network of refuges, including some for women from ethnic backgrounds and cultures.

Offers advice, relationship counselling, sex therapy, workshops, mediation, consultations and support face-to-face, by phone and through their website.

Chinese Information and advice centre
