The
Book of Remembrance was created by the calligrapher, Sam Somerville, and
the bookbinder, George Kirkpatrick. It is housed in a glass display cabinet
in the Reception Foyer at Police Headquarters, close to the Roll of Honour
and the First and Second World War memorial Plaques.
Each
website entry for those commemorated in the Book of Remembrance contains
a link so that you can view an image of their pages in the book. To use
this facility go to the page of the person you are interested in, then
click on the image of the book (pictured right) at the top of their page.
This will open a new window containing their pages. You may then print
the image by clicking 'file, print'. To close the window, simply click
on the 'X' at the top right hand corner.
