Hubert James Edwards - Essex County Constabulary.
Served from 1st May 1912. Killed 12th October 1917.

Police Constable Hubert James Edwards was the son of Robert Frederick and Mary Anne Edwards, of Loddon; husband of Rhoda Edwards, of Norton Loddon, Norwich, Norfolk.

He served with Essex County Constabulary from 1st May 1912 to 18th May 1915. He was killed in action on Friday, 12th October 1917 whilst serving as Lance Corporal 23908 with the 4th Battalion, Grenadier Guards aged 27.

His body was never found and he is commemorated on panel 9 of the Tyne Cot Memorial at Zonnebeke in Belgium.
