The Detective - Blues and 2s

Youngsters aged 2 to 4 can learn about the detective in this fun, hands-on session. Children can dress up in real police uniform and learn about how the job of a detective through story-time, a trail and craft activity. Booking is essential as there are only 10 spaces. Younger siblings are welcome.

Arts Award

Arts Award: Explore is back! Your children can get a qualification in the Arts with Essex Police Museum. Join our Saturday Club which runs every Saturday from February 14 to March 7 and includes Thursday February 19. Each week children will work with a different police artist to discover the art of fingerprints, photography, plaster of Paris, crime portraits and TV and film. During the four weeks your child will complete an arts log which will be required to submit to Trinity College London. After assessment the selected children's work will be sent to TCL and certificates for Entry Level 3 qualification. Children must be aged 8 to 14 years. The course fee is 30 per child and payment must be made prior to booking. All arts and craft materials, log books and certificates are covered in the costs. Children are required to attend at least 4 of the 5 sessions so please check your availability before booking. Booking is first come first served, once payment has been received.
