Update
Wickford Park Neighbourhood Policing Team aims to reduce levels of
repeat offending and anti-social behaviour. We will effectively
engage with community and partner agencies to target offenders and
bring them to justice.
Every neighbourhood is different and so are the problems that
matter to you. We will listen to the community and respond to the
priorities we identify.
Community assistance:
Neighbourhood Watch is actively looking for new members, both for
existing schemes and new ones. Geoff Whiter is the Wickford
Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator. If you are interested in joining
please feel free to visit him at Wickford Library every Friday
between the hours of 10am to 12pm.
We hold Neighbourhood Action Panel meetings (dates are shown on
this website) to discuss issues brought to us by the community
which have an affect on quality of life. Please come along and tell
us your concerns and issues and we will endeavor to assist you in
resolving these issues.
Burglaries are on the increase across the district and we would
remind people to make sure that they do not leave their house and
car keys on display so that people looking into your property can
see them.
You can take action in a number of ways to help make your
neighbourhood a safer place to live, work and visit.
