issues or concerns you have.
Update
The Goat Hall Neighbourhood Policing Team urges residents to report
any incidents to Essex Police on 101 and any immediate occurrences
or emergencies should be reported on the emergency number of 999.
It is important that all incidents are reported to enable us to get
a better picture of where and when these problems are
happening.
Bogus Callers:
We will be stepping up patrols in the efforts to combat Bogus
callers and artifice Burglaries. If you witness any incidents or
have any information please call Essex Police 0300 333 4444 or 999
if happening at the time. I would still encourage residents to be
vigilant by asking to see any identification of cold callers or
unknown visitors.
Ask for a telehone number if you are unsure and then close the door
leaving the caller outside and check with the company the caller
states they are from. Do not call any overseas telephone numbers or
premium rate numbers. If in any doubt DO NOT let the caller in and
contact the police.
Dwelling Burglaries:
I'd like to remind everyone that good home security is critical to
prevent these crimes from happening especially at this time of
year. Just by pulling the handle on your PVC door up does not
always secure your door - it needs to be double locked. The harder
you make it for burglars the less likely it is they will bother
targeting your house.
If you wish to contact the team either to discuss any of these
matters or for further crime prevention advice please call the team
directly on our mobile number. If we can't answer please leave a
message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Neighbourhood Update - PCSO Strange is currently unavailable, if
