Burglaries are still occurring around Colchester Borough.

You can help reduce burglaries by marking your property or recording details of your identifiable property on IMMOBILISE.COM -

Here are some other things you can do to make it more difficult for burglars and thieves;

Make sure your house, gates, shed and garage are secure when you are away from home.

Physically check and make sure your car is locked before you leave it. Put your car keys in a safe place out of view in the house.

Don’t leave your mobile, purse, wallet or handbag unattended when you are out and about. Keep bags zipped up and held close.
