Update

In this current time of disruption Harlow Neighbourhood team would like to assure all residents that as yet there has been no disisruption/trouble in Harlow. If you have any concerns or information please contact us.

Burglaries are still occuring in Harlow.
Here are some simply but effective ways of preventing this-

• LOCK your doors- sounds simple but 90% of burglaries occur when doors are left unlocked at night
• LOCK all windows- again this should be common sense but gets overlooked by most people
• Keep you keys in a safe but hard place for a stranger to find- most dwelling burglaries in recent months are having at least one car stolen

Once again I urge you all to report any persons or any other type of situation in which raises your suspicion to please phone 999 in emergency or 0300 333 4444, In every single case myself and my colleagues would prefer to come out to an incident when it turns out to be nothing to worry about rather than turning up to a burglary or theft.

You can take action in a number of ways to help make your neighbourhood a safer place to live, work and visit.
