Update

23/01/12:

Officers are conducting patrols in Connaught Avenue overtly and covertly in response to some calls regarding Anti Social behaviour in the Location. We encourage anyone with any information regards ASB to contact Walton Police station.

A new scheme called Holiday Watch has been launched, this watch is mainly for caravan site owner/security and works very similar to Neighbourhood watch. This is so the staff and security can communicate with other camp sites and pass on information such like suspicious persons hanging around and people that have cause problems on the site and may try to stay at another site.
This will in turn provide better security for holiday maker and the residents given better crime prevention activity.
If you would like more information please contact the web site www.holidayparkwatch.info or call PCSO Boyden at Walton Police Station on 0300 333 4444

PCSO Brassey has started a considerate park scheme in an effort to educate drivers about inconsiderate parking in the local area. The first time an offending vehicle is identified and in not sought to be such serious nature an advisory ticket will be issued and details recorded. Then if after this the vehicle is seen again parking in such a away to be inconsiderate then the owner will be warned once again but from thereon any further parking offences such as obstructions they will be issued a fixed penalty ticket or face prosecution.

Please do not leave any valuable items in the car or place them in a safe place i.e. the boot. Make sure your car is locked and alarm turn on. Try and park the car in a well lit area and if you see anything suspicious please call us.

The Community Speed Watch is now up and running and actively deploying in the local area if you require any further details please contact PCSO Petley at Walton police station.

As a result of a couple of reported shed burglaries please review your security, fit suitable locks and consider fitting a shed alarm.
