I have worked as a Police Officer since July 2006. I started my role as a Police Officer within the area investigation team for South West Thurrock and Purfleet, I worked within this role for 1 year then joining the Neighbourhood Response Team in April 2007 as a Response driver. I then joined the Neighbourhood Policing Team in June 2010 where I was the Aveley Neighbourhood Officer, then becoming the Acting Sergeant for Aveley and Belhus Wards. I have in November 2011 become the Dedicated Neighbourhood Officer for South Ockendon, Aveley and Belhus Wards. I welcome any information you may have and am looking forward to meeting and getting to know the community as I have done with the Aveley Ward. Update

We have two dispersal zones that have been in place and have drastically reduced anti-social behaviour. High visibility patrols have helped ensure a safer neighbourhood.

This has been achieved through hard work and co-operation between Essex Police, the local residents of South Ockendon who have provided support and intelligence, and with partner agencies within the council.

Input from the neighbourhood action panel for South Ockendon has helped tremendously, as have the South Ockendon residents association and FORUM meetings, and we urge people to get involved with these groups to add your voice and opinions to help direct how we can serve you best.

We are going to continue to tackle the problems of the area as we have done so far and we hope that we can have an even better year for crime reduction ahead.

If you wish to take part in any of the above groups please see the events section of this website and come along and have a say. Or call us on our neighbourhood mobile 07802 799193 or via the non emergency number 0300 333 4444.

You can take action in a number of ways to help make your neighbourhood a safer place to live, work and visit.
