Chief Constable officially sworn in during attestation
ceremony
The
new Chief Constable of Essex Police has officially been sworn into
the force.
Stephen Kavanagh joined six constables, also transferring in, for
an ‘attestation ceremony’ where they pledged to do their job with
fairness, integrity and diligence.
Mr Kavanagh said it was important to take the oath alongside his
fellow officers.
