Can you identify these men?

Police have issued CCTV images of two men they would like to interview in connection with theft from a shop in South Woodham Ferrers.

At around 4:30pm on Thursday October 6, 2011, two unidentified men entered Post Office Counters in Hullbridge Road.

One of the men approached a staff member and asked for £800 in ten pound notes to be changed into a lower denomination.

The two unidentified men then distracted the staff member by changing their minds several times as to the denomination of notes and coins that they were requesting.

After the men had left, the staff member realised that £1060 had been handed over in the exchange due to the distraction, resulting in a loss of £260 to Post Office Counters.

The first suspect is described as a white man who was wearing a dark jacket, cream t-shirt, jeans and trainers. He is of heavy build and had a slight tan.

The second suspect is aged in his late 30s and was wearing a green and black short sleeved shirt, dark jeans and trainers. He is of medium build and has a dark complexion.

If you are one of the men in the CCTV images, or if you know their identity, please contact Pc Bradley at South Woodham Ferrers police station on 101, by calling 0300 333 4444 from outside Essex, or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
