Can you identify this man?
Police are appealing for help from the public to identify a man
they would like to speak to about three robberies in Grays.
Officers have released two CCTV stills of a man they would like to
question about the robberies which may be linked and took place
within a week of each other earlier this month.

On Thursday, July 14, 2011 a man armed with a hammer entered
Tesco Express in Drake Road, Chafford Hundred and fled with cash at
around 7.20pm.
He is described as white and in his early 20s. He was about
5ft 10in tall and was wearing a multi-coloured jacket and jogging
bottoms.
Two men were involved in the remaining robberies.
On Sunday, July 10, 2011, two men wearing balaclavas jumped over
the counter at KFC in Grays High Street and demanded money from a
member of staff. They made off with what was thought to be a
four-figure sum of cash.
The men were both white. The first was wearing ankle-length grey
troursers and a grey hoodie with red writing on the front. The
second was wearing blue jeans and a green tracksuit top.
Six days later, on Saturday, July 16, 2011, two men armed with a
hammer and a chisel demanded money from the till at the Co-op store
in Lodge Lane, Grays just after 8.10pm.
When staff told the men they couldn’t open the tills, they
smashed them and fled the store with three money trays.
The men were both white and aged in their mid 20s. One was
wearing a black tracksuit top with stripes on the sleeves, black
three quarter length jogging bottoms with grey stripes down the
legs and white trainers. The other had fair to ginger hair and was
wearing a black tracksuit top which was grey at the top and black
at the bottom, black tracksuit bottoms, white trainers.
No one was injured in any of the robberies but staff members
were left very shocked and shaken.
Police are appealing for anyone who can identify the man in the
CCTV still or has information that could help police with their
