Officers revert to normal neighbourhood policing
Police have today, Friday, October 21, 2011 reverted to normal
neighbourhood policing at Dale Farm, and officers will remain on
site to protect property and maintain the peace while bailiffs
continue their work.
Revised figures show that to date, a total of 38 people have
been arrested since Wednesday, October 19. There were 32 arrests
for obstructing a bailiff, one for violent disorder, two for
obstructing police, one for failing to remove a face covering, one
for breach of the peace and one public disorder.
The arrest for breach of the peace was released without charge
and the arrest for failing to remove a face covering was charged
and bailed to court.
One of the people arrested for obstructing a bailiff was also
arrested on suspicion of carrying an offensive weapon.
All other people arrested have been released on bail.
