Two charged in connection with disorder at Dale Farm
Two men have been charged for their part in the disorder at Dale
Farm on Wednesday, October 19, 2011.
Emmanuel Leuschner, 26, a German national who gave an address in
Rayne, Braintree has been charged with four offences; assault
occasioning actual bodily harm, violent disorder, resisting an
officer in the execution of their duty and Public Order Act offence
of using threatening, abusive words or behaviour.
He will be appearing at Southend Magistrates' Court on the
morning of Friday, October 28, 2011.
A 19-year-old man from Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire has been
charged with committing a public order offence by using threatening
or abusive words or behaviour towards a Pc, with the intent of
causing him to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be
used against him.
He has been released on bail to appear at Southend Magistrates'
Court on November 9, 2011.
In total, five people have now been charged and 34 people remain
on bail to return to police stations in November and December,
while police continue their inquiries.
The Essex Police operation at Dale Farm has now returned to
neighbourhood policing, with all other units now back on their
divisions.
