Safer School Partnership Officers are school-based officers who
work with school staff, pupils and local agencies.
They aim to reduce and prevent crime and anti-social behaviour
to create a safer school environment.
Here Safer School Partnerships Officer Anna Collins talks about her
role working at Notley High School in Braintree and Honeywood
School in Coggeshall.
Sue Moss, assistant headteacher at Notley High School, said her
school benefits from having a Safer School Partnerships
Officer.
She said that Anna is a brilliant addition to the school who is
able to carry out preventative work with students as well as
helping to communicate with parents.
