Death of married couple in Wickford

Police are treating as unexplained the deaths of a married couple, both aged in their 50s, who were found in their home in Bruce Grove, Wickford on Sunday morning, November 6, 2011.

The couple were discovered by their sons, who gained entry to the home. Emergency services services attended and confirmed that the couple had died.

The deaths are not being treated as suspicious but the home is being preserved for a detailed examination to try and establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Post mortem examinations are due to take place later today, Monday, November 7, 2011.
