Have you seen stolen Morris Minor?

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a 1954 Morris Minor was stolen near North Benfleet.

The pale grey Morris Minor convertible, index NNM473, was stolen from the side of the A130 between 8.30pm and 9.30pm on Saturday, September 24, 2011.

The car, which has an estimated value of around £2500, had broken down on the Chelmsford bound carriageway near the Sadler’s Farm area.

The owner left the car on the verge, where it was not blocking traffic, and went to find help. When she came back the car was missing and enquiries suggest it was not moved by a vehicle recovery firm.

Police and are appealing for anyone with information to contact Pc Emma Ridings at Grays police station by calling 101 or 0300 333 4444 if calling from outside Essex. Information can also be passed to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
