CCTV released after armed robbery at bookmakers

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to question about an armed robbery at a bookmakers in Tilbury.

Two men, one armed with a knife, threatened a member of staff at Ladbrooks on Calcutta Road at around 7.30pm on Monday, February 4, 2013.

One of the men then jumped over the counter and stole money from the till before both men made off on foot along Calcutta Road in the direction of Ottawa Road. 

The CCTV image is very clear so police are asking anyone who recognises the man to contact Pc James Boyce at Grays CID on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
