30-year-old man charged with murder
A 30-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a woman in
Loughton.
Daniel Hodges, of no fixed address, has been charged with murdering
39-year-old Gillian Andrade.

Police were contacted just after 6.30am on Sunday, July 8,
2012 following reports that a woman had been stabbed
inside a house on Churchfields.
Officers arrived to find the body of Gillian Andrade.
Daniel Hodges, an oil rigger, was arrested at the scene.
He appeared before Chelmsford Magistrates on Wednesday, July
11, 2012 and was remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown
Court the following day. He was then remanded in custody again for
a plea and case management hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court on
Monday, October 29, 2012.
A provisional post-mortem examination result showed that Gillian
Andrade of River Road, Buckhurst Hill died from a stab
wound.
In a short statement, Gillian’s family said: "We are devastated at
the loss of our much loved mother and daughter. She has been taken
from us under such tragic circumstances. She will always be loved
in our hearts and will never be forgotten.”
