Driver arrested after motorcyclist killed in road crash
A driver has been arrested after a motorcyclist was
killed in a road crash in Latchingdon.

Michael Marshall, 60, of Fambridge Road in Maldon,
died after his motorcycle was in collision with a blue Vauxhall
Corsa on Burnham Road just after midday on Thursday, June 28,
2012.
His family has now paid tribute to him, describing him as a
'dearly loved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and
friend to everyone that knew him'.
In a statement, Michael's family said: "Michael worked as a
cleaner in the local Tesco’s supermarket. He enjoyed riding his
motorbike, films and 60’s music.
"All the family members and friends will greatly miss
Michael.”
An 18-year-old man from the Maldon area was arrested after the
collision on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has
been released on police bail pending further enquiries to
Monday, December 3, 2012.
Police continue to appeal for any witnesses to the collision to
contact them at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or
