Family of woman found dead at her home pays tribute to her
The family of a woman who was found dead at her home in Clacton
has paid tribute to her, describing her as 'love and
treasured'.

Police were contacted just before 7pm on Friday, November 2,
2012 following concerns for the welfare of 66-year-old
Carol Cooper.
Officers forced their way into a flat on St Vincent
Road where they found her body.
Carol's son Peter Dickson was arrested at the flat and later
charged with one count of murder.
The 37-year-old, also of St Vincent Road, Clacton, appeared
before magistrates in Chelmsford on Monday, November 5, 2012.
He was remanded in custody and appeared at Chelmsford Crown
Court on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.
Carol's family has paid tribute to her. They said: "Carol
Cooper was a vibrant, fun loving lady, wife, mother, sister,
grandmother and friend, so cruelly taken from us, loved and
treasured.
"She leaves behind a wealth of memories and will never be
forgotten. Peace at last X”
