Police confirm no suspicious circumstances around death of man in Grays

Police are able to confirm that there are no known suspicious circumstances around the death of a man in Grays in the early hours of Saturday, July 7 2012.

A man in his 50s was found in Wharf Road, Grays by a member of the public at about 1.15am.

He had visible head injuries and other injuries and was taken by ambulance to Basildon Hospital where he sadly died despite emergency medical treatment shortly after 4am.

Medical evidence is consistent with witness statements that the events which led to his death are not suspicious.
