Police seek owner of motorcycle after serious crash in Frinton

Police investigating a serious crash involving two pedestrians in Frinton are seeking the owner of a red W reg, Yamaha motorcycle index which was involved in the collision in Cliff Way, Frinton. Ps Kevin May said: "We are trying to locate the owner of the bike to speak to him about this incident and find out who was riding it, so I ask him to contact police at Clacton or me at the Serious Collision Investigation unit at Boreham on 101 or email collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk."

Two pedestrians were seriously injured when they were struck by a motorcycle on a pavement at Cliff Way, at about 8.30pm on Saturday, August 4.

The casualties, a couple from Berkshire, were in Frinton to visit relatives. The injured man, aged 64, suffered a fractured skull and three breakages to his left arm. The woman, aged 60, had three fractures to her right arm.
