Robbery at Chelmsford hotel

Police are appealing for information about a robbery at a hotel in Chelmsford.

In the early hours of Boxing Day, three men forced their way in to the Premier Inn at the Boreham Interchange via a back door.

The night porter was assaulted and a four-figure sum of cash was removed from the safe.
