Jewellery recovered in Witham and Kelvedon

Detectives are trying to trace the owners of jewellery seized as part of a police investigation into burglaries in Essex.

The recovered items include watches, earrings, chains, rings, and jewellery boxes.

Ds Andrew Johnson said: "Some of this jewellery will clearly have sentimental value, and we have not been able to trace the owners.

"We recovered the jewellery in the Witham and Kelvedon areas, and it is possible that it was stolen during burglaries in that part of Essex. However, it also conceivable that the property was stolen elsewhere in the region.

"Please look at the pictures and contact us if you think they are yours, or you recognise any of the items as belonging to a relative or friend.”

If you know the owners of any of these stolen items, please contact the CID Target team at Chelmsford on 101.
