Police investigate fatal road crash
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a road
crash in North Weald in which a pedestrian died.
A silver VW MPV struck a male pedestrian on Epping
Road shortly before 3am on New Year’s Day.
The pedestrian, a local 44-year-old, was certified dead at the
scene.
A section of the road was closed for approximately five hours
while forensic collision investigators carried out their enquiries
and the road was cleaned.
