New recruits in training - Part three
New recruits Pc Roxanne Wicks and Pc Ross Evins are now three
quarters of the way through their training at Essex Police
College.
Since we last caught up with the trainee police officers, they’ve
been on a community placement, taken part in a series of scenarios
at Lakeside Shopping Centre designed to put their learning to the
test and taken a trip to Kent Police’s training college in
Maidstone.
The recruits have also been studying for exams, learning how to
search property and understanding what to expect at crown
court.
There are only a few weeks to go until Pc Wicks and Pc Evins
complete their training and ‘pass out’ in a special ceremony in
front of family and friends.
We’ll next catch up with them after the ceremony as they prepare to
become operational police officers patrolling the streets of
Essex.
