Corporate Accounting Supervisor
£34,098 - £37,191 per annum, Monday to Friday,
Permanent, Full Time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to
undertake the role of Corporate Accounting Supervisor.
You will support the preparation of the annual revenue budget,
in particular the costing of the pay budgets and the uploading of
the budget into the financial system to ensure the overall budget
is accurate. You will be closely involved with the closure of
accounts and the production of the statement of accounts for the
Police & Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable to ensure that
both of these single entities comply with statutory and regulatory
requirements related to statements of accounts.
You will manage the day-to-day cash flow and support the
management of the investment portfolio, ensure sufficient cash flow
to support operational activity and maximising investment returns
in line with treasury strategy.

30 hours per week (part-time), 24/7 shift pattern Chelmsford
Starting salary £17,361 (pro rata), plus 20% shift
allowance and additional weekend working enhancements
Our Control Room in Chelmsford is open 24 hours a
day, 365 days a year and provides a service for anyone who wishes
to contact Essex police.
Working here can be unpredictable and sometimes challenging, but
always very worthwhile. You could deal with the most important call
of someone's life.
As a Communications Officer when you pick up the phone, you have
no idea who's calling. It could be someone who wants to report an
abandoned car or someone who's just been seriously assaulted.
