Experienced Communications Officers
Essex Police are keen to recruit experienced
police control room staff to work in our newly refurbished Force
Control Room, based in Chelmsford. Essex is one of the largest
County Forces and faces policing challenges in urban, rural and
coastal communities, as well as on major road networks.
This is an opportunity to develop your police control room
skills and contribute to keeping the people of Essex safe.
The control room deals with an average of 2000 emergency and
non-emergency calls per day and dispatches to an average of 1200

PNC Non-Operational Support Officer
£17,736 - £21,402 per annum
Full time Monday to Friday 10:00 - 18:00 hrs or Full time Shift
Permanent - Full Time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to
undertake the role of PNC Support Officer based within the PNC
Bureau at Essex Police Headquarters.
You will work as part of a multi-skilled team supporting
operational policing by receiving and actioning of enquiries and
messages in relation to the Police National Computer, Athena and
other record systems.
