Uttlesford

Uttlesford is largely a rural district in northwest Essex. It covers 247.5 square miles. The district borders Braintree, Chelmsford and Epping Forest and has a population of around 91,300 people. Towns include Saffron Walden, Great Dunmow, Stansted Mountfichet and Thaxted. The district also has a 100 villages and hamlets. It is home to London Stansted Airport and has major road and rail network links to London and Cambridge.
