All public authorities are required to provide a publication scheme. The Publication Scheme is our way of making sure that information relating to certain categories, known as ‘information classes’, is routinely published.
In addition to the information that falls into these categories, the scheme also includes information that we have disclosed in response to freedom of information (FOI) requests.

What is the Publication Scheme for?
The purpose of the Publication Scheme is to let you know what information is readily available about us and make it simple to obtain.
The scheme allows us to do two crucial things:
Enable the public to understand what information we hold
Make it easy to access the information, either directly or via an FOI request
By law the Publication Scheme must:
set out the classes of information which we publish or intend to publish
state how we will publish the information in each class
state if we will provide the information free or charge for it
How to access information
We routinely publish large volumes of information here on our website, most of which will be available to download straight away. Occasionally, information listed will not be available electronically. In such cases we aim to supply this information within five working days of receiving your request.

The Freedom of Information Act requires us to publish information under certain headings, termed 'classes'. Only information that meets the Act’s definitions and descriptions are placed within the classes.

Material made available through the scheme is subject to either our or third party copyright.
If the material is subject to our copyright, you may reproduce any of it free of charge in any format or medium, provided it is reproduced accurately and not used in a misleading manner. Where any of the copyright items in the Publication Scheme are being republished or copied to others, you must identify the source of the material and acknowledge the copyright status.

If the material is subject to third party copyright, you must obtain authorisation to reproduce such material from the copyright holders concerned.
Material made available through the Publication Scheme must not be reproduced, copied or otherwise used for any commercial purposes. Charges will be made where material is intended for commercial publication.
