The Police (Injury Benefit) Regulations 2006

The PPA has set the following objectives/principles to be applied.
Between the period 2001 and to 2011 the reassessment of degree of disablement (commonly referred to as injury award review) was conducted on a regular basis in respect of all eligible Essex Police injury benefit pensioners.
The Scheme Manager (Chief Constable) has a legal responsibility to recommence reassessment of the degree of disablement in respect of all eligible Essex Police injury benefit pensioners.
