Information Request  

I am seeking information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, regarding assaults and violent crimes in pharmacies.

Please can you provide me with the following information:

"How many incidents of the assault or other violent crime occurring on or about the premises of a pharmacy, have been reported to your force in the following calendar years: 2023, 2022 and 2021"

• Locations have been defined by the address containing "chemist" or "pharmacy", or the location being categorised as a "chemist" (there is no category for "pharmacy"). The accuracy of the data relies on the offence being recorded correctly and the location being completed, which may not always be the case. 
• Offences under the category of Violence Against the Person have been included.
