Essex Police Costs for 2020/21 will not be available until the draft statement of accounts are published (statutory date of 31 July 2021).
2019/20

These costs have been subject to external audit.
Within these figures there were £8,911,880 of costs associated with employer contributions to the Police Officer and Police Staff pension schemes.

Within these budget figures there is £11,423,310 of budgeted employer contributions to the Police Officer and Police Staff pension schemes. The increase from prior years will reflect the impact of the last actuarial pension fund valuations and resulting adjustment to employer contribution rates.
