Information Requested
Please find attached a list from Highways England relating to speed cameras on both the M25 and M1.
You will see that your force is listed as being the enforcement authority for some of these cameras.
For each of the camera sites that you have authority for please provide separate data stating the following information:
In (a) the 2019 calendar year and
(b) the 2020 calendar year
please state
(i) how many times each site was activated by a vehicle breaking the speed limit,
(ii) of these activations how many resulted in Fixed Penalty Notices,
(ii) acceptance on to a speed awareness course,
(iii) a court appearance,
(iv) cancelled due to a foreign number plate,
(v) cancelled due to an emergency vehicle and
(vi) other.
