Having completed enquiries within Essex Police in respect of Section 1(1)(a), Essex Police does hold information relating to your request, Essex Police can confirm in respect of Section 1(1)(b) the following data:

The data is correct as at 24 February 2022.
Date Range: 01 February 2020 to 31 January 2022.
The data is based on Theft Offence Crimes and Robbery Offence Crimes where the Property Code is ‘Motor Cycle’ and ‘Scooter’ and the Property Status is ‘Stolen/Recovered’. There is no ‘Recovered’ Status within the Property Field.
Please note that the below is the number of thefts/robberies in which Motorcycles and/or Scooters were stolen/recovered and not the quantity of Motorcycles and/or Scooters stolen/recovered in each theft/robbery.
