Section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) places two duties on public authorities. Having completed enquiries within Essex Police and in respect of Section 1(1)(a), Essex Police does hold some information relating to your request. Under Section 1(1)(b) the below/attached has been provided in relation to your FOI.

Notes:

The 'Home Office classification' data field was used to specify the ‘NC/10’ code for hate incidents.
The ‘Offence investigation type’ field was used to filter out non-crime records only.
Dates: 1st April 2015 to 15th December 2020.
A total of 72 non-crime hate incidents took place at a School or at a place connected to a School.
