Numbers of Stolen Pets 2019 to 2022

1. The number of stolen pets (dogs, cats, horses, other small animals) OR crimes involving stolen pets in 2019, 2020 and 2021 (1 January - 31 December) plus 2022 1 Jan – 31 May.
2. The date of the reported theft of a pet in 2019, 2020 and 2021 (1 January - 31 December) plus 2022 1 Jan – 31 May.
3. If recorded, the species and breed of animals stolen in 2019, 2020 and 2021 (1 January - 31 December) plus 2022 1 Jan – 31 May.
4. Please provide locations (where known) involving theft of the animal eg house/street/garden in 2019, 2020 and 2021 (1 January - 31 December) plus 2022 1 Jan – 31 May.

Caveats: Q1 and Q2 – Data is based on theft offence crimes and robbery offence crimes where the ‘property code level 2’ is ‘pet animal’ and the ‘property status’ is ‘stolen’ and/or ‘stolen/recovered’.
Also, please note that this is number of thefts/robberies in which pet animals were stolen / stolen/recovered, and not quantity of pet animals stolen in each theft/robbery.
