The data is correct as at 27 May 2022.
Date Range: 01 January 2020 to 31 December 2021.
The data was extracted from Athena Crime using Business Objects to show all notifiable offences.
The Home Office Classification Code 11A was searched for Cruelty to Children/Young People.
Not all cases have victims recorded, therefore, the total count for ‘age range of victims’ differs from the total number of crimes. A separate query was undertaken to include a search of Person Link Reason set as ‘victim’.
