A12: Man, 85, dies in collision

We are now in a position to confirm that a man has died after being involved in a collision on the A12 yesterday.

We were called to the northbound carriageway close to junction 17, at Howe Green, at about 1.10pm yesterday, Friday 15 April.

Sadly, we can now confirm an 85-year-old man has died as a result of his injuries.

His family have been informed.

No arrests have been made and our enquiries are ongoing.

We need anyone who saw anything or has dash cam footage to contact us.
