We are now in a position to confirm a man involved in a serious collision on the A120 has sadly died.
The 18-year-old quad bike rider was involved in a collision on the Colchester-bound A120 near to the junction with the A133 at Hare Green shortly before 12.30pm on Sunday 27 March.
He was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition but sadly has now died.
His family are aware.
We continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward and speak to us.
Detective Sergeant Sam Nason, who is leading our investigation, said:
“We still need people to come forward in order to help us piece together the moments before this incident took place.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage of it to get in touch as soon as you can.”
