Canvey: Appeal after serious collision

We are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision which took place in Central Avenue, Canvey, this afternoon, Monday 4 April.
The incident, which involved a car and a motorcycle, was reported to us shortly after 4.20pm.
The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 20s, has been taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
The road remains closed whilst we investigate the collision. We envisage it will closed into this evening.
No arrests have been made.
