A man’s been charged in connection with a collision in Chelmsford yesterday.
A car and a lorry were in collision in Boyton Hall Lane at around 10.35am on Tuesday 5 July.
The driver of the car has been taken to hospital.
The driver of the lorry – Vyavtas Morkvnas, 44, of Haupstrasse, Hattenhofen in Germany – was arrested and has now been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He is due top appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Thursday 7 July).

The driver of the lorry – a 44 year-old man – has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and is currently in custody.
The road is likely to remain closed into this evening while we continue to investigate.
