Brentwood: Update on incident in High Street

We are on the scene of an incident in Brentwood which was reported to us shortly before midday today, Saturday 29 January.

We were called to reports of damage being caused to a premises in High Street.

Our investigation has shown the damage to be caused by a suspect using what appears to be a hammer.

We can confirm that no one has been injured. At this stage, no arrests have been made.

There is a significant police presence in the area, and we anticipate that will continue throughout the afternoon.
