Witham: 15 months on patrol with Simon Jesse
Main article content
During 15 months of lockdown, come rain or shine, Community Special Constable for Witham Simon Jesse documented his patrols on the EPWitham Twitter account.
When the Covid-19 pandemic hit in March 2020, Simon's ability to engage with the community changed. Simon continued to be out and about in Witham and to ensure people could still see him, he continued to update them on Twitter and included a selfie whenever possible to show where he'd been and what he'd been up to.
15 months and over 150 selfies later, Simon tells us about how passionate he is about his voluntary role with Essex Police.
If you live or work in or near Witham, you can follow Simon and his colleagues on the EPWitham Twitter account.
