Southend: Three charged in south Essex drug supply investigation

Two men and a woman have been charged with drug offences after specialist officers executed warrants in Southend and Maldon.
Officers from the South Disruptor Team worked alongside the dog section and officers from the Operations Support Group search three properties in North Shoebury Road, Shoebury, Westbourne Grove, in Westcliff, and Friar’s Lane, in Maldon.
As part of our investigation, we have seized about £3,000 in cash and what we believe to be £9,000 worth of cocaine.
Jonathon Jones, 31, of Westbourne Grove, Westcliff, has been charged with Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, conspiracy to supply class A drugs and possession of cannabis.
Reece Knight, 30, of St Andrew’s Road, in Shoebury, has been charged with Possession of criminal property, conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and possession of cannabis.
Sara Uden, 44, of North Shoebury Road, in Shoebury, has been charged with possession of criminal property, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
All three are due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on October 14 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
