A man has been arrested in connection with an assault in Braintree.
It was reported a man in his 50s was attacked on Porters Field at around 11pm on Friday 23 September. The man suffered injuries to his face and was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 42-year-old man from Braintree was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
