We are appealing for witnesses following a large fire at a business premises in Braintree.
The incident happened in Rayne Road at around 11.30pm on Wednesday 21 September. Sadly a dog died at the scene.
We are interested in speaking to anyone who saw or heard anything before the fire started. We especially want to speak to someone who was seen in the area at around 11.15pm.
They were wearing a black coat and grey jogging bottoms and were seen heading toward Rayne Road from the town centre and entering an alleyway near to where the fire is believed to have started.
Anyone with information about the incident, or who has dashcam, doorbell or any other footage of it which has not yet been passed to us, is asked to contact us as soon as possible.
